

ACCA’s (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) reputation is grounded in over 100 years of providing world-class accounting and finance qualifications. ACCA Members are known as Chartered Certified Accountants. You can transfer to ACCA membership and use the designatory letters "ACCA" after your name as soon as you have:
- completed 14 examinations (nine of which are eligible for exemption)
- completed the Professional Ethics module
- recorded 36 months' in a relevant role via the PER (Practical Experience Requirement) return
- answered the challenge questions for 13 performance objectives (all nine essentials and any four from options) and had these signed off by your workplace mentor.

ACCA qualification is recognised as the equivalent of an honours degree in Accounting and is known as a 'global passport' to international accounting and finance. ACCA Members can seek employment in industry, financial services, the public sector or in public practice around the world. In the Mainland China, ACCA is also the most popular international accounting qualification.

Through ACCA’s unique partnership with Oxford Brookes University, while studying for the ACCA qualification, students can gain a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Accounting. In order to secure the degree, students have to:
- complete Knowledge and Skills modules (Paper F1 to F9); and
- submit a 6,500-word business related Research and Analysis Report, and a 2,000-word Key Skills Statement to Oxford Brookes University.

You can study for ACCA qualification via the following routes:
| Professional Examination Route (PER) |
- You must be 18 years old and above
- Minimum 2 GCE ‘A’ Level and 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits in English and Mathematics or
- 3 LCCI Higher Level passes (individual passes or diploma) and 2 LCCI Intermediate Level passes in Book-keeping and English for Commerce with 2 GCE ‘O’ Level credits in English and Mathematics. All five subjects must be distinct (different) subjects or
- Polytechnic Diplomas and University Degrees in Singapore or
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification
| Mature Student Entry Route (MSER) |
You can qualify for MSER if you do not fulfil the PER requirements and you are at least 21 years of age. Prior to proceeding with the rest of the papers within the ACCA qualification, MSER students must pass Paper F2 and Paper F3 within 2 years from their initial registration as student members with the ACCA.
