The responsibilities of the Academic Board include:

1. Developing the policies and procedures to address academic quality assurance and improvement mandate through ensuring that:

   a.	the content of the modules or subjects of the course; the duration of the course; and the entry and graduation requirements of the course are appropriate; and
   b.	the approval for deployment of lecturers is based on the requirements stipulated by KTC Accountants Institute.

2. Facilitating the Institute to implement and comply with the policies and procedures developed; and
3. Reviewing, at least once a year, the academic policies and procedures.
